AMT-121
Engineering and geological surveying and gas logging (GTI).

The station AMT 121 is designed for monitoring the drilling process of oil and gas wells. Ensuring reliability, fail safety and optimization of the drilling process. Acquiring complete and unbiased geological and technological information. The station in the Advisor mode can handle both production (cluster, directional and horizontal drilling) and exploratory drilling (including deep-hole drilling).

The station provides:

  • automatic signal acquisition from process sensors, gas logging and bottomhole geosteering equipment, input of support information
  • automatic processing and interpretation of retrieved data
  • drilling works monitoring: wellbore advance, round-trip operations with fill-up control
  • cementing job monitoring
  • early warning of abnormal and alarm situations including blowouts and spills
  • construction of lithology logs while drilling
  • identification of pay zones and fluid contents analysis, prognosis and zonation of abnormally high/low pressure sections by d-exponent or sigma-logging methods
  • determination of gas logging parameters and reservoir productivity
  • monitoring and forecast of well paths (five methods are used)
  • special methodologies of online interpretation of drilling with cutting PDC bits in conjunction with high-torque DDM
  • performing calculations for handling geological and engineering problems of well guiding
  • generation of parameters for geomechanical modeling
  • visualization of all acquired well data on a monitor display
  • wellbore report generation and printing
  • report template editor
  • working with archives
  • export of stored data into internationally used formats of geological and engineering data storage, and to remote data processing centers.

Station configuration

  • Base set of the AMT-301 Station
  • gas logging equipment set
  • station operator, drillman, process engineer, geologist and supervisor workplaces
  • wireless communication system

The station provides a driller (with a driller's panel available), foreman and drilling engineer with comprehensive and unbiased information on the ongoing technological processes in a well, drilling parameters, drill bit life expectation, drilling technical and economical feasibility parameters, both current and predicted by the end of the trip. Enables optimization of drilling technique and bit wear.
